The Cachaça Museum is a Brazilian museum located in the municipality of Maranguape, in the state of Ceará. It was created in 2000, where the first production unit of Ypioca cachaça worked. It has a 19th century architectural and cultural heritage, as well as sports attractions such as kayaking and climbing.
In the hall dedicated to the production line is the simulation of the whole process of artisanal manufacture of cachaça, from the grinding to the fermentation, from distillation and potting to the application of labels. Next, the visitor travels 40 meters between barrels of balsam wood, about four meters high, which store aged cachaça for a period of up to 42 years.
